Hampton Water is proud to introduce the first release in our exclusive artist series – a special edition artisanal blend rosé created for our loyal community. This series celebrates diverse creators who share our values, bringing their unique artistry to our limited-edition labels. To kick off the series, we’re collaborating with the incredibly talented artist Cey Adams, whose legendary design work in Hip-Hop embodies creativity, passion, and a commitment to giving back — values that align perfectly with Hampton Water. For this launch, Cey has designed a striking label that blends wine, art, and culture, making this exclusive 2024 vintage rosé a collectible masterpiece meant to be shared and celebrated!

About Cey Adams
Cey Adams, a New York City native and visionary artist, emerged from the downtown graffiti movement in the 80s alongside fellow artists Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring.
Adams served as the founding Creative Director of Def Jam Recordings, where he “defined the visual culture of Hip-Hop,” creating album covers, logos and advertising campaigns for Run DMC, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, The Notorious B.I.G., DMX, Jay-Z, Mary J Blige, and many more. In addition he created some of the most recognizable logos in music and entertainment including Usher, Hot97, and Chappelle's Show.
His multidisciplinary art practice draws inspiration from 60s pop art, vintage sign painting, and comics. His work incorporates mixed media collage, painting and drawing, exploring themes around pop culture, brand identity, cultural, and community issues. Adams has collaborated with global brands including Apple, Levi’s, Mattel, Spotify, The Recording Academy, Monster Energy, Bacardi, Foot Locker, Converse, YouTube, Google, and many more. He exhibits, lectures, and teaches art workshops at leading institutions including: The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, Rhode Island School of Design, Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Brooklyn Museum, Museum of the City of New York, School of Visual Arts, Temple University, MoCA Los Angeles, Stanford University, Howard University, University of Michigan, among others.
He designed the award-winning Smithsonian Anthology of Hip-Hop and Rap (Smithsonian/Folkways), a box set including a 300-page book and 9 CD set; curated and designed The Mash Up: Hip-Hop Photos by Janette Beckman, Remixed by Iconic Graffiti Artists (Hat & Beard Press); designed Def Jam Recordings: The First 25 Years of the Last Great Record Label (Rizzoli); and co-authored the best selling DEFinition: The Art and Design of Hip-Hop (Harper-Collins).
