Behind the Bottle: Storytelling with Founders
Born in France. Raised in the Hamptons.
Before it became Hampton Water, it was just a summer night and a glass of rosé.
Or as Jesse Bongiovi once called it, pink juice.
The Night It Got a Name
Growing up in the Bon Jovi house meant music, movement, and people always coming together. Jon would often unwind from the day with a crisp glass of rosé.
One warm summer night in the Hamptons, Jesse and Jon were drinking what Jon would call “pink juice” on their front porch. Jesse put his arm around his dad and said, “It’s not pink juice anymore. It’s Hampton Water.”
The name stuck.
What started as a joke turned into a real idea - not just another bottle on the shelf, but something that captured where they were and how they lived: relaxed, confident, social.
From the Hamptons to France
An idea is one thing. Building it the right way is another.
So they went to France.
Partnering with world-renowned winemaker Gérard Bertrand, Jesse and Jon set out to create something truly authentic - crafted in the South of France and inspired by the energy of the Hamptons.
Hampton Water Rosé officially launched in 2018 and went on to become the highest-rated French rosé of its kind, earning multiple 90+ point ratings from leading wine publications. It was also named an Impact “Hot Prospect” brand.
But beyond the accolades, what mattered most was simple: people genuinely liked it.
Fresh. Balanced. Easy to enjoy.
French craftsmanship meets Hamptons lifestyle - and that balance defines the brand.
Rooted in Lifestyle
Hampton Water grew quickly, fueled by a strong digital presence, becoming the most-followed rosé wine brand in the world on social media, with over 650K followers and a modern approach to marketing that felt different from traditional wine brands. It felt accessible. It felt current. It felt real.
Hampton Water Rosé became a go-to for any movement from outdoor dinners, beach weekends, and late nights. It shows up naturally at any occasion.
As the brand evolved, so did the portfolio. Hampton Water Bubbly joined the lineup, adding a new layer of celebration to the story. Still rooted in French craftsmanship. Still unmistakably Hampton Water - just with a little more sparkle.
Rosé sets the tone.
Bubbly raises it.
Built on Family, Designed for the Moment
At its core, Hampton Water is still about that first summer night in the Hamptons.
A father and son sharing a glass.
An idea sparked by connection.
A belief that wine should fit into real life.
Poolside afternoons.
Dinner under open skies.
Spontaneous toasts.
They like their lives like they like their wine.
